As part of our sustainability initiatives we've formed a committee to drive growth in the communities that we are a part of. As a starting point we're budgetting for charity contribution, and you can review our selected charities below. We'll be working to expand the program with initiatives such as customer / partner contribution matching and fundraising events. We'll post more on this throughout 2008 and 2009. BC Children's Hospital
CCP is a proud supporter of BC Childrens Hospital. BC Children's Hospital provides expert care for the province's most seriously ill or injured children. Many of the specialized pediatric services are not available anywhere else in the province. 50/50 draws for the hospital have frequently been done at many of CCPs event lunchs and functions and Jeans Day is an event we all look forward to annually. Vancouver Food Bank
Twice a year we take the initiative to raise donations for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Everyone always participates willingly and with great pride that we are making a difference for those in our community who are in need. Basics for Babies
This year for the first time we participated in the Basics for Babies program. Basics for Babies provides the basic necessities for vulnerable children in developing countries. It promotes prenatal care and maternal support systems as we as to enhance the development of children already in institutionalized care through medical support and necessities such as food and clothing. |
