Charity
As part of our sustainability initiatives we've formed a committee to drive growth in the communities that we are a part of. As a starting point we're budgetting for charity contribution, and choosing a different charity each quarter to donate to. You can review our selected charities and events we're doing this quarter below. The Charity Committee at CCP would like to ask for your help in raising money for our chosen charity for this quarter. We will be donating all the funds we raise through this and other office events to the Canadian Red Cross Relief for Haiti. On-line Magazine Fundraiser

CCP has hosted several fundraiser. In June, CCP asked employees to purchase their lunch from the Charity Committee with all proceeds going towards the food bank in the area. For offices that couldn't have a barbeque in remote locations they donated the money that they would spend on coffee or smokes for that day. Afterall, every little bit helps. CCP also hosted a Silent Auction where each CCP employee brought something from home that they no longer had use for (kind of like a Garage Sale) or donated something they purchased. Everything was on display from all the offices over Video and people bid for whatever item or items they chose. All the money raised from this went towards the food bank in each area. We were all able to see that ones persons junk is another persons treasure through this fundraiser... Local Food Banks
At least once a quarter, we take the initiative to raise donations for local Food Banks across Canada. Everyone always participates willingly and with great pride that we are making a difference for those in our community who are in need. Canadian Red Cross Relief for Haiti
The Canadian Red Cross collects funds to meet the immediate relief and long-term recovery needs of disaster survivors. The Canadian Red Cross is mobilizing to support relief efforts in Haiti—providing medical support, clean water, food and shelter to people who have lost everything. CCP is dedicated to donate all monies raised through their charity committee to the Canadian Red Cross Relief for Haiti. |
